The best part of any holiday is enjoying it with kids! These recipes are fun, healthy, and really get you in the mood for Halloween! I feel extra in the spirit this year since my kids and mom decided I was dressing up too! (My mom and husband made our costumes… and lucky me… I get to wear this at Zoo Boo, Denny’s classroom Halloween Party, our neighborhood parade, and of course trick-or treating)! HAHA!
Here are two recipes we tried out this week! They make clean eating fun… and are kid approved! These are also so versitile – Add what you like and leave out what you don’t!
Pumpkin Stuffed Peppers: Combine cooked ground meet, brown rice, black beans, and tomatoes! Mummy Pizza Bagels: Top whole wheat bagel with tomato sauce, pepperoni, mushrooms, spinach, and then add mozzarella cheese slices and two pepper eyes!
